Does praying the Hail Mary make God angry?

Now, I'm not picking on Catholics. I'm looking into converting, myself...I'm not doubting their love for Christ one bit, but reciting "Hail Mary, Full of Grace, the Lord is with thee, Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, Amen".....Does God get mad when prayers aren't directly toward him? It can't like lead you to Hell can it? The Gail Mary is in the Bible after all but I've heard Protestants put it down....I'm confused.
