Catholics? what does mean the consecration to the Virgin Mary?

Mary is the closest human being to Jesus. From her body came the body of Christ. Eyes, ears, mouth, heart all of it. We are asking Mary to help us remain free of sin in the body. "whole being without reserve" mean the spirit- we give our entire spirit to Mary so that she may help us stay close to Jesus. Some one who had much property would gaurd it right? they would gaurd what is their possession. By placing ourselves under her possession-we are garenteed to be watched over by her. She who is so close to Christ. Mary is by no means more important then Jesus or God. But she can intercede for us More then most people think. She has a very high place in heaven. After all- she gave Jesus the body that he used to suffer pain for our sins. I think we owe her somethng.
