I n fable 3 will my child be taken to the orphanage if my dies?

i dont like my wife but i like my kid so i want to kill my wife, but i dont want to have to go to the orphanage to get him back. If i hire a nanny when i kill my wife will my kid be taken, i dont care if he does but i just want to know?
